Tips for Disney Influencers Who Survived Doing Media Coverage of the Disney Cruise and More

It’s not a happy time in the happy world of Disneyites at this moment. We’re speaking mostly about influencers who survived on doing publicity videos about the magic land.

The staff of this Disneyite website decided to do something a little different: marketing lessons. These lessons are designed not just for Disneyites, but also for anyone in these challenging times.

Investing

Let’s get back to investing for a moment. If you get into the investing in the stock market and are decent at getting returns, as mentioned this can be your ticket to achieving the “Big B.” Let’s look at a point that Forbes Magazine makes:

“Using the future value function in excel and compounding the returns monthly, we reach the princely sum of $1,009,076,276.09 in just . . . 84 years. So max out your retirement accounts beginning at age 20, and when you turn 104 you will be a billionaire. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.”

Is the Stock Market Enough?

Who knows, if you are young, maybe a medical method will come about that will mean you will make it to age 104. Of course though, we want our billion earlier. So this means the stock market is only a part of the equation. Also, if you read the Forbes article that we used a quote from, it goes on to detail that with inflation it is not all that simple.

We felt it was important to put the methods out there for the masses so that some of you who are hurting can also become billionaires just like that mouse with ears.

You need more things to invest in to become a billionaire. Oops, does this mean we are going to have to flip the channel to non Disney programming. Just a tad, to make a point.

“Shark Tank” Knowledge

Chances are if you are reading this, you watch the “Shark Tank” TV show. If you do not, you should start. Why? Because you will get much knowledge about how billionaires look at investing. You will also, surprisingly, learn about marketing. The two important factors that come up again and again on the program are the questions relating to:

The Show and Marketing

Will this give me a return on my investment and how is it being marketed? Is it sustainable? Watching “Shark Tank,” including watching repeats of what you have already seen, will give you a lot of information on what to look for in an investment. It is also an interesting lesson in marketing. Why? Because with around 2,043 billionaires in the world, the “Sharks” on “Shark Tank” were selected for a reason. Sure, they were asked to join the program based on their billionaire merit, but also because all of them are involved in self-promotion, at times putting their faces on products and such.

What Does This Tell Us About Becoming a Billionaire?

The Sharks are where they are in large part due to their marketing strategies promoting themselves. They know that being known can make better deals in the future and can also be a darn lot of fun. So being on “Shark Tank” continues the promoting of themselves and there is nothing wrong with that! Disneyites who are influencers take this info and help to open the doors of the magic kingdom once more!

A Disneyite Trapped by a Major Crisis

Cruises Shut Down

I am a Disneyite who is trapped in a major crisis. The crisis is the same one we are all in which is the Coronavirus. I can’t do the regular things that I would be able to do if it were not for COVID-19. For example, I had planned to go on a Disney Cruise in the not so far off timeframe. But the Disney Cruise and other cruises had been shut down.

Experiences Expunged

I wanted to go to Disneyworld, but that too had been closed. Oh how I yearned to see the Disney castle in person with its fireworks. No go. The experiential offering had also been closed.

The Last Resort (Pun Intended)

So what was I to do with no Mickey? I did what any Disney fan would do in my situation which was to record my sadness over not being able to be close to my dream. My salvation? The writing of this post in honor of cruises and theme parks that had lifted my spirits in the past. Writing what you are reading right now  somehow makes me feel just a little bit more close to Walt.

The Disney Wish a New Addition

New Stern Art

Disney is known for many wonderful things, the latest of which is a new addition to their cruise ship ensemble. The name of the vessel is “Disney Wish.” It will be a little larger than the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy. Also, there will be the ability to go to the stern and look down at the art that will be found there.

Extra Decks

The atrium is influenced by a princess of beauty from a fairy tale. Unlike prior ships, the stairs will rise to the first floor and the second floor. Making the ship larger with the addition of a couple of extra decks. The ship will set sail on January 2022.

An Imagineer

Disney is also creating a new island attraction known as Lighthouse Point. With all the ships running, the island called Castaway Cay does not have enough space to host them all. So it makes sense to have another island to take the overflow. Imagineer Joe Rohde is heading up the development of the island. One of the big additions of the new island is that there will be a long zip line.

Food Tips and Tricks on the Disney Cruise

Ahoy Disneyites! Today we are going to talk about tips and tricks on the Disney Cruise. Hope you enjoy.

FINDING A GOOD PLACE TO EAT BREAKFAST: it’s hard to find a good place to eat breakfast on your first full day on the Disney Cruise. Most people go to Cabanas, but and my family and I go to Enchanted Garden on the second floor of the Disney Dream and I think all of the other cruise ships as well.

GETTING BANANA AND STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM: one thing I found out from going on a Disney Cruise twice is that only on the first  day you don’t get strawberry and banana ice cream. Only chocolate and vanilla.

GETTING DRINKS 24 HOURS A DAY: if you don’t know much about the Disney Cruise, then you probably don’t know that on the pool deck they have a 24 hour drink fountain.

ROOM SERVICE 24 HOURS A DAY: I’ve only used room service once on the Disney Cruise and plan to do more in the future because there is great food available. I recommend the Key Lime Pie! My family and I finished it under three minutes.

BUT BEST OF ALL THE FOOD IS INCLUDED! Please remember to tip.

Until next time, goodbye Disneyites!

5 Things to Bring on Your First Disney Cruise

Hey Disneyites, I have 5 things to bring on your first Disney Cruise. Hope you enjoy. Have a magical day.

DAY BAG: the reason you need this is because your other luggage will not come to your stateroom until around 2pm. And you will need your bathing suit, phone and more.

REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE: you need this because on the pool deck they have a soda dispenser. At the soda dispenser they have tea, water, soda and more.

SEA SICKNESS MEDICATION: you need this because you don’t know whether or not you’ll get seasick. Although I have not had need for them, some medications I’ve heard about include Gin Gins, Dramamine and finally peppermint and ginger essential oils behind your ears.

LANYARD: you’re going to need this because on your first Disney Cruise they don’t provide one. If you want a Disney themed lanyard or any design on it you can buy them on Etsy, Amazon or Five Below.

DOOR MAGNETS:  you’ll need this because if you want to be festive and have the Disney spirit door magnets are the quickest way to it. Some places you can find the magnets at include Etsy, Amazon or on the Disney Cruise itself.

Sea (pun intended) you real soon.
